Andrew entered the foster care system at a young age, facing challenges most kids never have to think about. Diagnosed with autism and cerebral palsy, he’s had to navigate a world that doesn’t always move at his pace. But Andrew doesn’t let any of that stop him. With determination and support, he’s grown into a resilient and inspiring young student. He attends school with the help of an Individualized Education Program (IEP), which gives him the tools and support he needs to thrive academically and socially. Through his IEP, Andrew has developed the ability to text, opening new ways for him to communicate and connect with others. One of his greatest joys is playing video games, where he finds freedom, fun, and a sense of achievement. Andrew continues to show everyone around him that with perseverance and the right support, anything is possible no matter the obstacles.

Andrew is seeking a pair of Beats earphones, which he believes would significantly enhance his daily life at school and home. Due to his autism, he is particularly sensitive to loud and distracting noises, making it challenging for him to concentrate or feel comfortable in busy environments. High-quality, noise-reducing earphones would help him manage sensory input, allowing him to stay calm and focused during schoolwork, therapy sessions, and transitions. Plus, these earphones would enable him to communicate more effectively through his device, practice his texting skills, and fully immerse himself in his favorite video games—an important source of joy, motivation, and confidence for him. Owning a reliable pair of earphones would not only promote Andrew's independence but also support the development of skills that contribute to his academic, social, and emotional growth.
