Jaquelin was born in the United States and raised in Colima, Mexico, by her grandparents. She later moved back to California to live with her father. During her childhood, Jaquelin and her siblings faced physical abuse from her father's partner. Despite the trauma she experienced and witnessed, Jaquelin is on track to graduate. After graduating, she hopes to pursue higher education.
