Alyssa is a bright and expressive young girl who currently lives in a foster home. She entered care at age ten after her father, who had been her primary caregiver, returned to prison. Despite the challenges she’s faced, Alyssa continues to shine through her love of dance. Dancing is how she expresses herself and finds freedom from the heaviness of her past. She dreams of one day becoming a professional dancer, performing in movies or on stage at concerts, where she can share her talent and emotions with the world.

Alyssa has a simple but heartfelt wish for a new green shirt, something cute, comfortable, and easy to wear. She really needs new clothes, and this wish stems from her desire to feel more confident and refreshed in her daily outfits. Adding a green shirt to her wardrobe would mean a lot to her, as it would give her something new to enjoy and help her feel more put together each day.
