This month, she is unable to cover the expenses for laundry for herself and her children due to unexpected costs related to her housing. At the moment, Paola is between jobs and is actively seeking more stable and consistent employment. Her primary focus is on supporting her children’s education, providing for their basic needs, and continuing her studies. With some support, she can overcome this financial challenge, keep searching for work, attend her classes, and ensure that her children have clean clothes to wear. Paola’s family and close connections live in Puerto Rico, so she is on her own in supporting her children.
