Evelyn is a bright, happy, young lady with the potential to achieve any goal she sets for herself. She just completed her freshman year at Kean University. She enjoys volunteering and has completed a number of volunteer programs. She has volunteered for Youth Epitomizing Success, Holocaust Resource Center of Kean University, and Voices for Change. She has also received a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition and the State Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish. Evelyn's goal is to obtain a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She chose this field because of her passion to help others and make a difference in the community. Unfortunately, Evelyn was misguided into attending the university for nursing, however Kean University only offers an advanced program for nurses, and Evelyn does not meet the criteria. Despite her challenges and limited support, she continues to work hard and is determined to be successful.

Evelyn is in need of prenatal vitamins as she is experiencing her first pregnancy. For the past month, she has been very sick and unable to keep food or liquids down, which has led to multiple visits to the emergency room. Despite her condition, Evelyn remains determined to attend school and work every day, but she has been sent home from both due to her sickness. This situation has caused financial stress, leaving her with no funds to purchase vitamins and other essentials.
