Owen spent his early years in Haiti before immigrating to the United States at the age of six. For several years, he faced significant abuse and neglect. After entering the foster care system, he moved between multiple homes. Despite these challenges, Owen excelled academically in high school and has continued to perform well in college. He is currently double-majoring in accounting and finance and plans to pursue a master’s degree in accounting after completing his undergraduate studies. Additionally, Owen intends to attend law school. He is determined to improve himself and establish a prominent presence in his field. Ultimately, Owen aims to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Owen has been accepted into the DC Fly-In program through the University of Alabama, where he will have the chance to meet with various state and federal representatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for him to discuss the ongoing needs of Alabama residents, gain insights into different policies, and learn more about the workings of the Senate and the House of Representatives. To make a good impression during his meetings, he will need a professional coat to wear while he is in DC.
