Christie-Lee is diligently pursuing her GED through the Door program in order to build a better life for herself and her child. She has a strong passion for math and science and aspires to work in the medical field one day, inspired by her family’s legacy of helping others. Growing up, she was particularly influenced by her grandmother, who was a registered nurse, and her sister, who is an obstetrician. She's receiving supportive services from Youth Represent.

Christie-Lee is soon to be a single mother, expecting her baby in February. She’s dedicated to completing her GED to create a better life for herself and her little one. To support her newborn in getting restful sleep, she’s considering a baby air purifier and sound machine, which will help ensure longer, more peaceful nights for them both.
