However, she’s already facing barriers; for instance, while applying for jobs is a step in the right direction, it becomes difficult when you don’t have a reliable phone for potential employers to reach you. At the moment, she’s borrowing a family member's phone when necessary, but it’s not always available. Having her own phone would significantly ease the job search process and help her stay in touch with her caseworker, allowing her to access the benefits she's entitled to.
