An iPad for Isabel on her birthday

Isabel, 20 years old, PA | birthday-iconclock-icon NEEDED BY 03/13

Arcadia University- H.O.M.E. Program

Isabel is a kind, caring, and understanding person who values being friendly and respectful toward others. She can be quiet and keep to herself at times, but once she feels comfortable, her goofy and laid-back personality really shines through. Although she may be shy or a bit awkward around new people, getting to know them helps her open up and be her authentic self. Isabel values healthy boundaries and will distance herself from situations or people that feel controlling or uncomfortable. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, painting, playing video games, listening to music, watching horror and action movies, and occasionally writing. She experienced foster care.

Isabel is requesting an iPad for her birthday because it would be much easier for her to carry around campus than her laptop, and it would better support her everyday academic needs. Having a more portable device would ensure that she always has access to her schoolwork, reducing the risk of forgetting important materials in her dorm. An iPad would also help Isabel stay organized by allowing her to track her class schedules, assignments, events, and meetings all in one place. This support would make managing her academic responsibilities more efficient and less stressful, helping her stay focused and on track throughout the semester.
