Maleeka has been through many hardships throughout her life. Maleeka was placed into a kinship home with someone she has had a great relationship with. Maleeka has made great strides since she has been in placement. Maleeka continues to look forward to her visits that she gets each week. Maleeka loves the color pink, playing basketball, eating chicken tacos at Moes and listening to Sabrina Carpenter.

Maleeka has recently entered a kinship placement and, unfortunately, she wasn't able to bring many belongings with her. However, one of her greatest passions is music, and she's always eager to explore new sounds and stories. It would mean the world to her to have her own Yoto Player, complete with audiobook cards, allowing her to enjoy music and storytelling wherever she goes. This would not only provide her with entertainment but also offer a comforting escape as she adjusts to her new environment.
