Both Brysen and his brother are being cared for by their great-aunt. Brysen is a bright kid who understands his caregiver's worries and struggles, and at times, he feels sad about them. He is always eager to do anything he can to put a smile on her face, even if it's simply helping out around the house.
Brysen is in a trauma group focused on self-love this month. Through journaling, he hopes to explore what self-love means and how to practice it. This experience will help him express his feelings more and build his self-appreciation, especially since he has been facing some tough emotional challenges.
