Strength Based Community Change (SBCC)Samantha is a college student whose resilience and determination were shaped by her foster care journey. Now studying full-time at Citrus College, she has completed the Automotive Technology program and is just four classes away from earning her associate degree. Samantha works as a full-time service technician at Mercedes-Benz and part-time at Phat’s Auto Group, turning her passion for cars into a career. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors with loved ones, and focusing on her personal growth. Samantha’s story reflects strength, perseverance, and the power of opportunity. She’s a shining example of what’s possible when young people in foster care are given the support to pursue their dreams.
Samantha recently moved and wants to make her new space feel like home. She is currently living in a studio apartment, which has limited room for her clothes. Having a dresser will help her keep her clothes organized and easily accessible, providing a sense of stability and comfort as she settles in. After working hard to build her independence, this dresser will significantly help her stay organized and feel grounded in her new beginning.
