Azul became part of the foster system in February 2024 after being removed from her home due to her family's difficult circumstances. Her mother sought help on a community website where members offer support to one another. When a volunteer arrived at Azul's home to provide the requested items, they did not approve of the living conditions and reported the family to the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). This led to Azul being removed not only from her home but also from her family. Azul is still dealing with the trauma of this separation; however, she has formed strong bonds with her siblings. She enjoys dancing, spending time outdoors, and cherishing moments with them.

Azul loves spending time with her siblings and enjoys dancing and being outdoors with them. One of her dreams is to ride bikes together, as it would create even more opportunities for family bonding. Getting a bike would help her share these fun experiences with her family. Overall, it would enhance the joyful moments they create together.
