Kyle is currently participating in an extended foster care program, which allows him to stay until he turns 23. As a college student, he is dedicated to overcoming various challenges while pursuing his education in a building construction program, with aspirations of becoming a general contractor in the future. Kyle's journey in foster care began at the age of 14 when his aunt was no longer able to care for him, and his parents have never been a part of his life. He spent his teenage years in a group home until he turned 18. Despite the obstacles he has faced, Kyle remains hopeful and optimistic about his future. When he’s not studying, he stays active by playing basketball, football, and boxing. He treasures the connections he has with friends, often catching up through FaceTime, and finds joy in unwinding with video games. Kyle's positive attitude and zest for life are truly inspiring.

Kyle’s birthday is coming up next month, and he’s in extended foster care. He gets a small monthly allowance while he’s in college, where he’s really focused on his studies and takes extra classes each semester. Because of this, he doesn’t have much time for a job. He’s planning to celebrate his birthday with friends at Dave & Buster’s and wants to get a new outfit from his favorite brand, which includes a shirt and shorts.
