Lewis is a remarkable young man. He entered foster care at the age of ten and moved through many different placements and group homes before aging out at eighteen. He has never had family support and has had to navigate life on his own since leaving the system. He has experienced homelessness and struggled to meet his basic needs, yet he continues to show resilience and determination. Throughout his journey, he has faced numerous challenges; however, he maintains a positive attitude and remains committed to achieving his goals.

Lewis is moving into a new apartment with the help of a Section 8 voucher, and he couldn't be more excited. This assistance will cover his rent, allowing him to breathe a little easier and finally focus on his education and long-term career goals. As he embarks on this new journey, he's relocating to a city far from his current home, arriving with just a backpack and minimal belongings. Now, he faces the challenge of furnishing his new space from scratch. One of his top priorities is to find a comfy mattress, as having a cozy place to sleep will make a world of difference in his daily life.
