Charlie has been in and out of the foster system since he was 8 years old. He was with a family member for a few years until he returned to the care of his mother. After an unsuccessful reunification with his mother, and the subsequent death of his father, he moved between group homes and ultimately entered into extended foster care, after turning18 years old. With the support of his CASA he found a job at a local store. This is very exciting to Charlie as he will still be able to qualify for EFC and can work toward his GED.

Charlie needs funds to purchase clothing for a new job he is starting. He is very excited about this opportunity because he will still qualify for EFC and can work towards earning his GED. This has given him a renewed sense of hope for his future; however, he feels a lack of confidence due to his clothing situation. Charlie requires suitable clothing so he can dress appropriately for his new job. This is wish 2 of 2.
