CASA IN - Knox CountySawyer is already showing incredible strength. Born at 24 weeks, he had a very rough start — but today he is reaching important milestones and truly thriving. Sawyer especially loves his baby swing. The gentle rocking soothes him, and he’s fascinated by the dangling toys, often reaching his tiny arms up to bat at them. Sawyer shows you that he loves these moments in his swing by smiling, babbling, and wiggling his tiny little body. After such a tough beginning, these joyful moments mean everything.
Sawyer was born at just 24 weeks and is putting in a lot of effort to meet his milestones. He loves to rock in his swing; it really calms him down and helps him take a break when he needs to. In the swing, Sawyer's personality shines through. He wiggles, giggles, and eagerly reaches for the toys hanging nearby, filling the room with his adorable babbles. It's not just playtime for him—it's helping him develop his motor skills, coordination, and confidence. His foster mother, who is also his neonatal nurse, had a cherished swing that she saved from when her own kids were little, but unfortunately, it’s seen better days and broke after years of use. After all the challenges he's faced, getting Sawyer a new swing would provide him with a cozy space to keep growing, learning, and thriving—one gentle rock at a time.
