Gena is a resilient and courageous foster youth who recently relocated out of state with only a small bag of clothing as she transitions into her new foster home. Despite the significant changes in her life, she continues to demonstrate strength, adaptability, and hope for her future. Gena is a bright and thoughtful young girl who may appear shy at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her curiosity and intelligence truly shine. She has a strong love for academics, especially language arts, and is deeply interested in learning new languages. Exploring different cultures and ways of communication excites her, and she has expressed a heartfelt dream of one day learning Mandarin Chinese.
