Pip is a creative, driven young person who has been in the foster care system for some time. Pip has overcome great personal challenges to inspire others in the system to welcome volunteer mentors into their lives. They dream of earning a college degree and entering a STEM career. In their spare time, Pip likes dabbling in sculpture, such as making character masks from natural materials, and going on walks with their mentor.

Now that Pip is on their own, they've saved up enough to travel to meet their biological grandmother in Florida. However, as a lifelong New Englander living in group homes, Pip doesn't have the right attire or sun protection to feel comfortable in southern climes. A gift card to Walmart will help them get what they need, so they can relax and focus on making up for lost time with Grandma!
