Thompson Child and Family FocusCarter was placed in foster care due to concerns about neglect, including exposure to domestic violence, substance abuse, unstable housing, and inconsistent school attendance. He has two siblings with whom he is currently not living, and he worries about their well-being as well as his own placement in care. Since entering foster care, Carter has demonstrated strength and perseverance. He has gained more confidence and has become comfortable with his current foster parents. Carter enjoys playing outside with neighborhood peers, swimming, and is considering joining the Boy Scouts to enhance his social skills and learn useful abilities. Carter continues to grow and thrive with the nurture and support he needs.
Carter has always wanted to learn how to swim, and he has decided to pursue this goal seriously. His wish is to take swimming lessons. With dedication and practice, he hopes to become a confident swimmer and remain safe whenever he is in the water.
