Joseph and his twin brother, Julian, were born extremely premature, weighing just 2 pounds at birth. They were exposed to methamphetamines in the womb and experienced severe withdrawal symptoms. Julian continues to use supplemental oxygen on a daily basis. Despite these challenges, both brothers remain happy and are always smiling.

Joseph loves to play and draw. Since he was born very prematurely, he needs to focus on improving his dexterity and finger movements. He enjoys listening to songs like the alphabet song and the "1, 2, 3, 4, 5" song, and he likes to try to mimic the movements he hears. Having his own drawing board will be beneficial for him because it allows him to trace numbers and letters. The board can be placed on the ground when he needs to lie down, or propped up on a stand, making it easier for him to work on his dexterity.
