Brooke is bright and determined and has overcome significant challenges. She was removed from her mother’s home due to domestic violence and substance abuse, and during that time, she missed many days of school, which caused her to fall behind academically. Since being placed with a caring family member, Brooke’s life is much more stable. Her school attendance has improved tremendously, and she is now excelling in the classroom. With consistency and support, she has shown just how capable and hardworking she truly is. Brooke is active and full of energy. She plays basketball and participates in gymnastics, where her confidence and determination shine. She is social, naturally funny, and has many friends. Brooke now lives in a quiet neighborhood where she and her friends spend time outside—riding bikes, laughing, and simply enjoying being kids.

A bike would mean so much more to Brooke than just a way to ride around — it would mean belonging. She is active and loves being outside, and now that she lives in a quiet, safe neighborhood, she has the chance to enjoy being a kid. Many of her friends ride bikes together after school, but Brooke doesn’t have one, which can leave her feeling left out. Having a bike would allow her to fully join in, build friendships, and enjoy the simple freedom and fun every child deserves.
