Jayla is in foster care, and she is on the autism spectrum, and she has limited verbal skills. Since being removed from her mother's care Jayla has been very sad and missing her mom, she is able to express herself by dancing and she tries to sing.

Jayla has been in foster care since October 2025, after spending the majority of her life lovingly raised by her grandmother. Although she is nonverbal and on the autism spectrum, she recently communicated something very special—she would love a video camera so she can record herself dancing. Being able to watch her dance helps her feel proud, build confidence, and better understand the progress she’s making in her own unique way. A camera would bring her enormous joy. It will be a tool for expression, empowerment, and emotional growth. Granting this wish would mean the world to a young girl who has faced so many challenges and still greets the world with sweetness, creativity, and hope.
