Skyla is very shy and is learning to communicate in a world that feels different from others. She has enjoyed watching Cocomelon in sign language and loves princesses. As she is in foster care, Skyla is also adjusting to being in a placement away from her parents.

Skyla is gearing up to start an exciting new chapter in her life—she's about to begin attending a special preschool! She can't wait to learn how to communicate using sign language, which opens up a whole new world of interactions. The thought of being with other children and riding a big kid bus to school fills her with joy and anticipation. She would be so happy to carry a princess backpack with her!
