Sylvia is incredible and is learning to be independent. She has grown so much. She graduated from high school a year early and is now attending classes at PCC and working part-time. She yearns to be self-sufficient and has done so much work to take care of her mental health. She is kind, appreciative, communicative, and does a great job advocating for herself. Sylvia loves to read, journal, do art, and skateboard. She loves fantasy books (Sarah J. Maas is one of her favorite authors) and has built her own skateboard before. She is a driven person who is learning how to shine despite everything she's been through.

Sylvia had to move frequently over the past year, which resulted in many of her important personal belongings and pieces of furniture getting lost in the process. Among these was a bookcase that held significant value for her. Sylvia owns hundreds of books and envisions needing her own library one day. She hopes to find a nice bookcase to organize her collection and keep her books within easy reach. Ideally, she wishes for a tall, wooden bookcase in dark cherry color. This piece of furniture will accompany her when she transitions to independent living.
