Amaya is incredible and has a bright future ahead of her. After transitioning from a group home to a foster home, she is adjusting well and continues to stay focused on her goals. Amaya is extremely dedicated to her education. One of Amaya’s greatest strengths is her heart for others. She loves encouraging people around her to succeed and enjoys being actively involved in her own meetings and planning for her future. Despite the challenges she has experienced, Amaya continues to show resilience, determination, and kindness. In her free time, Amaya loves cooking and reading. She enjoys trying new recipes and getting lost in a good book. Looking ahead, Amaya dreams of attending college out of state and continuing to pursue her academic passions. Amaya is a thoughtful, motivated young woman who works hard and cares deeply about those around her. She deserves every opportunity to continue growing, learning, and chasing her dreams.

Amaya is a hardworking and inspiring kid who recently transitioned from a group home into a foster home. She is an exceptional student with a 4.0 GPA, takes AP classes, and proudly serves as her junior class president. Because of her leadership role, attending prom this year is especially meaningful to her. Amaya is excited for this milestone and would love the chance to pick out a beautiful prom dress so she can feel confident and celebrate the night with her classmates. She dreams of going to JCPenney to find the perfect outfit for the big evening. Prom is a once-in-a-lifetime high school memory, and for Amaya, it represents joy, normalcy, and celebration after overcoming many challenges. Granting this wish would help her feel confident and excited as she steps into this special moment as junior class president.
