Lucas entered foster care at the age of 3 after experiencing instability during his first three years with family. Shortly thereafter, he was diagnosed with autism and is considered non-verbal. Despite this, he is incredibly intelligent, playful, and has a great love for food! His favorite activities include jumping, spinning, and watching his siblings play. Lucas was adopted into a large family that includes many children with special needs.

Lucas has a sensory processing disorder that requires him to use a variety of sensory tools to help regulate his body. He finds great relief and enjoyment in activities like running, swinging, and jumping. However, during the dreary weather in Pennsylvania, he often can't use his outdoor trampoline. An indoor trampoline board would be a perfect solution for him, allowing him to stay calm and regulated throughout the day, even when it's not ideal to go outside.
