Everett lives with his aunt, her husband, and their child in a kinship foster placement. When he entered care, he had to start at a new high school and was upset about being separated from his twin brother, but he made friends quickly. He loves to play games and fix things. He got a job and is excited to make his own money! Everett has struggled academically, but after coming into foster care, he was diagnosed with dyslexia, and he has made great progress in his reading by working with a dyslexia specialist! He has a great sense of humor and adds energy and playfulness to any situation. He is enrolled in a program preparing him for trade school. He hopes to be a mechanic, a welder, or a plumber.

Everett's twin moved to another state, and he misses him so much! Everett is asking for help with a plane ticket to see his brother graduate from high school. Both young men are doing well in their placements, but it has been very hard being apart from one another. Everett has been working hard to save toward the cost of the ticket while also saving up for school next year. This wish will help him cover the remaining amount so that he can see his brother on this special day!
