Jax is smart and very, and has been in and out of foster care for years as his mom struggles with addiction. He is determined to finish high school even though he has attended three high schools over several years. Jax is hoping to finish out his senior year on the track team and potentially run in college.

Asking for a pair of new shoes is a big request for Jax, as he doesn't typically ask for high-end items like this. But he is really hoping to finish out his senior year and graduate as part of the Varsity Track team. Currently, Jax only has street shoes and is hoping for a new pair for his birthday, which would be specifically for running on the track.
