Currently, she is a psychology major starting her studies at a four-year university, and she hopes to become a mental health provider to support youth and families in the future. In addition to her studies, Za'Marion loves fashion, food, and having fun.
Za'Marion is a college student at UC Riverside who experiences extreme heat during the summer months. Her classes are a 20-minute walk away, and due to her severe asthma, the high temperatures and prolonged walking often trigger asthma attacks. Being outside in this weather makes it difficult for her to manage her breathing and arrive at her lectures on time. Getting an electric scooter would reduce her 20-minute walk to a quick ride, helping to prevent heavy breathing and asthma flare-ups caused by the long walks in the heat. With the scooter, she can reach her destinations much faster, which means she will spend less time outside in the high temperatures. Help Za'Marion tackle the heat and her asthma this summer!
