Josiah is a bright young man who entered the foster system at the age of four. Throughout his life, he has taken on a leadership role for himself and his baby brother. Recently, Josiah was reunited with his father, and they are eager to bond and find enjoyable activities to do together that won’t cause financial strain. Josiah is very mature for his age and wants to spend time playing and having fun with his brother and father. He wishes to embrace his childhood again, feeling safe and carefree, without the responsibility of caring for his younger sibling—now that their dad is present to keep them both safe.

Josiah wishes for independence and would like to sleep on his own, in his own bed. At the moment, he shares a queen-sized bed with his father and brother. Despite the close quarters, Josiah's father is doing his best to provide for them, and the boys have never been happier since reuniting with their dad.
