Dariel began living with his maternal grandmother shortly after he was born because his parents were unable to care for him. He visits his mother every week and shares a strong bond with her, as well as with his grandmother and aunts. Dariel has been closely monitored by his doctors due to developmental delays and sensory-seeking behaviors. He is currently receiving services through Early Intervention and wears a helmet to prevent injury when he bangs his head. His family is dedicated to ensuring he receives everything he needs, and they enjoy watching him learn to play and communicate with the world around him.

Dariel has been actively exploring new foods to address his sensory processing challenges. With the support of various service providers, he is working to expand his palate and develop a more diverse diet. While this journey can be costly for the family, fulfilling this wish will help ensure that Dariel enjoys a well-rounded and nutritious diet. This is wish 2 of 2.
