Jason has spent most of his life in foster care, entering the system at the age of 11. Throughout his journey, he has experienced several placements, including various relative homes that ultimately didn’t work out for him. After aging out of the foster care system, Jason now lives in a semi-independent living program alongside other young adults. He is currently enrolled in online school, working diligently to graduate and secure employment. As the house lead, Jason takes on the responsibility of mentoring his peers, always ready to assist staff with tasks and bringing a wonderful sense of humor to the home. He is focused on learning essential life skills within the program, preparing himself for future independence. In his free time, Jason loves to ride bikes and hang out with friends. His motivation and strong work ethic consistently shine through in everything he does.

Jason has been using an old laptop for his online classes, but it recently stopped working. He hasn't had access to another laptop while trying to complete his coursework, which has caused him to fall behind in class and added a lot of stress. He has been saving his allowance, but it's not enough to cover the cost of a new laptop. Jason needs a new laptop to catch up on his classes and alleviate his stress.
