Braiden is a quadriplegic young man who loves to laugh, watch cartoons, and engage with those around him. Despite being nonverbal and facing profound medical and physical challenges, his joyful spirit shines through. Braiden is completely dependent on his maternal grandmother, who has been his devoted legal custodian and primary caregiver since he was just six weeks old. Their bond is incredibly strong; Braiden lights up at the sound of her voice, a testament to their close relationship. The family also receives support from the Department of Child Safety, which helps ensure all of Braiden's needs are met. With his grandmother by his side, Braiden finds comfort and joy in the world around him.
