Danielle has a special day approaching in April that she has been eagerly anticipating for quite some time: she is finally getting adopted! Danielle is thrilled to become a permanent, legal member of her current family. This family has been her first and only placement since entering foster care, and she now feels that she has a stable place to call her forever home. Although she has endured abuse before coming into foster care, that chapter is behind her. However, moving forward can still be challenging at times.
