Fostering Hope - BucksJacob has been living in a group home for some time. Before that, he moved through five foster homes after being removed from his parents due to extensive physical and emotional abuse. Jacob's family has always struggled financially, making it difficult for him to get by. He is working hard to finish high school and complete his technical school training in welding to pursue a career. Jacob is determined to better himself and is putting in a lot of effort to achieve his goals.
Jacob has never owned a new pair of shoes in his entire life. For his birthday, he asked for this cool pair of sneakers and shared with his caseworker that he had never been asked what he wanted for his birthday before. Receiving this gift would be incredibly special for him and would help boost his confidence at school!
