Jinny, 15 years old, NJ
Wish submitted by:
KFS&CIn the midst of facing tough challenges from her difficult past dealing with domestic violence, Jinny, a strong and determined young woman, found herself grappling with a new diagnosis of PTSD. Her struggle with a stuttering problem exacerbates her feelings of shame, leading to social anxiety and panic attacks that affect her self-confidence. Despite these difficulties, Jinny's inner strength shines through as a talented poet with dreams of becoming a writer. Not only that, she also excels in mathematics, a skill that has set her apart since she was young.
Jinny is really excited about getting some new fish! She hopes to get a fish tank vacuum cleaner because it would help keep her tank clean and make her home more peaceful. Taking care of her new fish could help her feel better and find happiness during tough times. With the vacuum, she can clean the tank properly, which is really important since she lost some fish before because she did not take care of them well. This new way of doing things would give her the confidence to help her fish live healthy lives.

"Jinny, a tank vacuum or syphon is important to have. If used once or twice a month to remove waste from the gravel, you'll never need to completely tear down the aquarium; fish won't need to be removed during cleaning. Only thing else you'll need to do is replace the filter material as needed. I've kept fish for a good 50 years. At one time, I had 40 aquariums. Only other thing to keep in mind is to only feed the fish what they will consume within 10 minutes. I feed my fish twice a day. Hugs"
