Harlem has a strong spirit and intense emotions. He has faced many challenges and struggles to understand why life is so complicated for him. Harlem lives in his great-aunt's house with his siblings. He is a devoted protector of his younger sisters and is extremely loyal to them. When he grows up, he dreams of becoming either a street sweeper or a race car driver.

Harlem is thrilled to celebrate his birthday, but even more so, he is looking forward to summer, which always follows his birthday. He can’t wait to play outside with his siblings and friends, and he is especially looking forward to a toss-and-catch game that everyone can enjoy together!
