The Family CompassElijah came into care due to homelessness and a lack of available family support. His foster family describes him as a likable kid who naturally draws people in. Others genuinely want to see him succeed. When you meet Elijah, it’s hard not to be in his corner and root for him. He enjoys staying active, especially spending time outdoors and playing sports. After a period of not being able to attend school, he’s hopeful about getting involved in school sports and building a routine again. In his downtime, Elijah is excited about video games, getting his first phone, and making new friends. More than anything, he’s looking forward to building a strong, supportive community around him.
Elijah recently entered care after experiencing homelessness, and he’s determined to build a fresh start. Excited about the possibilities ahead, he looks forward to making new friends, returning to school, and even finding a summer job. One thing that's on his wish list is his very first phone—a tool that would help him connect with his caregivers and engage with his new community. A gently used iPhone would not only keep him connected but also support him in building friendships and taking important steps toward his independence.
