Jamari is a bright and resilient young man who enjoys listening to Anna Mae and has a growing interest in technology. Jamari is working hard toward his future goals and hopes to be accepted into a career center where he can pursue his dream of becoming a computer technician. Jamari has experienced significant loss and instability. He was previously in adoptive care with his aunt, who sadly became ill and passed away. Following this loss, his mother was unable to care for him, and although his father initially stepped in, Jamari was left in the care of others. He is now placed in a new foster home and is working toward finding stability and a place he can truly call home. He is currently supported through an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and is making progress in school. Jamari has faced challenges with depression but is actively engaged in therapy and working toward healing, growth, and building a positive future. Despite everything he has been through, Jamari remains hopeful, determined, and motivated to create a better path for himself.

Jamari is a resilient teenager who has gone through many life changes and is currently adjusting to a new foster home. As a 10th grader, he is focused on his future and hopes to become a computer technician. Due to these transitions, Jamari has not had the chance to truly make a space of his own. He would love to have an Echo Dot for his room so he can ask it questions and play music on the speaker.
