Kendra entered foster care at 17 and struggled with homelessness until age 19. Determined and resilient, she is proud of securing her first apartment and a job she loves, showing that foster youth can succeed despite challenges. She enjoys spending time with friends and coworkers, cooking and baking, and attending K-pop and J-pop concerts and festivals. Her goals include attending culinary school.

Kendra needs reliable transportation to help her with everyday tasks, which would really improve her life. Right now, she struggles with transportation because taking the bus isn’t an option for her due to her disability, and she depends on Uber to get around. Kendra is working on getting her own vehicle, but it's taking time. Having her own transportation would give her the freedom to run errands without relying on friends. For her, having reliable transportation would mean more independence and peace of mind, helping her handle her daily needs confidently and easily.
