District Eight Foster Care ProgramMarie is in foster care. Marie is very good at art and works very hard at school. Her favorite thing to draw is horses. Marie also tries to babysit to earn extra money and is very good with children. Marie thinks she may want to be an Art Teacher when she grows up. Marie has had a hard time adjusting to foster care. Her mother is incarcerated and she doesn't know her father. She was living with her grand-parents, but her grand-mother recently passed away. Marie has a huge heart, but she has also experienced a great deal of loss in her young life.
Miley would like to receive a gift card from Wal Mart for Christmas so she can pick out art supplies and some make-up. Miley is a very talented artist who know exactly which supplies she would love. Picking out her own supplies will make sure that she has exactly what she needs to create her masterpieces and will also give her a great experiences and she doesn't get to go shopping for herself very often.
