Lay was neglected by both of her parents. She was placed with her grandmother at the age of 11. She is doing well in school; there have been some struggles, but she works through them. She is participating in basketball and track. She is interested in learning how to play golf. She enjoys arts and crafts. She is in the choir at church and enjoys singing.

Lay is requesting a new golf bag to carry her supplies while she's on the course. She is excited about starting her golfing lessons and making new friends. This is a wonderful opportunity for her, and the new skills she will learn will boost her self-esteem.
