Deon was placed with his grandmother because his parents struggled with violence and drug use, which made it unsafe for him. He enjoys playing football, basketball, and golf, as sports help him manage stress and burn off extra energy. Being very active, Deon also loves to talk a lot.

Deonis is starting golf lessons and is asking for golf shoes to wear on the course. He is very excited to start playing and learning a new sport. This also gives him something to stay busy with over the summer. He is excited to be outdoors more with the weather getting nicer.
