December’s journey into foster care began with a brave act of self-advocacy. After enduring years of hardship, she chose a different path for herself—one rooted in resilience and faith. Today, December is a bright light: an Honors student on track to graduate and head to college, a dedicated reader of the Bible, and a lover of music.

December is looking forward to prom and has worked so hard to get through school at this point. She's hoping to get a beautiful dress and needs a pretty pair of shoes to complete her look. She hopes to find something great, so she looks beautiful on this special day!
