Day is a fighter and a resilient young man who hopes to make something of himself one day. He is a survivor of domestic violence and is currently in foster care. Despite having a learning disability, he is doing everything he can to maintain his grades in school. One of the hardest challenges he has faced is the separation from his younger sister. The two of them were very close, but they had to be separated in order to find appropriate placements. Despite all the difficulties he has endured, Day strives to keep a positive attitude. He aspires to attend college and study engineering. He truly believes that, in the future, he will look back and see that everything he has gone through was necessary for him to achieve his destiny.

It would offer him comfort and a sense of belonging, reminding him of the team’s strength and providing a connection to cherished memories with his sister. Both siblings are fans, but since Day’s sister doesn’t have a cellphone, it’s been difficult for them to stay in touch regularly. When Day feels isolated, wearing the jersey would serve as a small yet powerful source of solace. He believes that his hardships are stepping stones toward a brighter future.
