Kenia has faced numerous challenges in her life and experienced foster care. She deeply cares about her family and roots, often expressing how much she misses her home country of El Salvador and the family she left behind. Kenia has a strong bond with her little sister, whom she helped raise, and she remains a steadfast support for her sister while navigating the foster care system. Demonstrating remarkable resilience, Kenia continues to set goals for her future and aspires to become a lawyer so she can advocate for children who have experienced similar circumstances. To cope with the various challenges she faces, Kenia enjoys playing softball and engaging in art activities.

Kenia is very passionate about styling her nails and doing makeup. During visits, she enjoys doing her mother’s nails and makeup, which has become a wonderful way for them to bond. Kenia has mentioned that she would like to buy more items so she can continue practicing her skills. When asked what she wanted for her birthday, she requested a gift card to purchase more items for her makeup collection and tools for doing nails.
