Jeremiah is an active kid who loves playing sports. His favorite sport is football, and he enjoys watching the Jacksonville Jaguars on TV. He also likes school; math and science are his favorite subjects.

Jeremiah has been through a lot, including physical abuse, which has hurt him emotionally. One really tough moment for him was when his sister's boyfriend broke his PlayStation 4. That gaming system was his safe space, helping him escape from his problems, and now that it’s broken, he’s struggling even more. Jeremiah’s family lives in Section 8 housing. It’s a single-parent household because his dad is in jail. His mom only works part-time because she has lung cancer, which makes it hard for the family to make ends meet. They can’t afford to buy a new gaming system, but having one would really help Jeremiah cope with his feelings and heal during this difficult time. It would give him a way to relax and manage his emotions better.
