Timothy is an energetic young man who has made significant progress during his time in foster care, but he has recently slowed down in his ability to retain words. He has been diagnosed with Autism and is receiving special education services at his school. Since entering foster care, Timothy has flourished. He began his journey in placement not speaking at all, but thanks to the support and encouragement from his foster mother and school staff, he has allowed his personality to grow and develop. Timothy has a particular love for songs, which he enjoys repeating.

Timothy receives physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech services throughout his preschool experience, where he has the opportunity to play and run around. At home, he has access to a large outdoor space, where he enjoys the tactile sensation and deep pressure of jumping to meet his sensory needs. An outdoor trampoline would help Timothy fulfill these sensory needs in a safe environment while allowing him to play with his siblings and other children in the home.
