Brie is a kind and empathetic young woman whose life has been shaped by both hardship and hope. After losing her grandmother, Brie entered the foster care system, feeling lost. However, she has grown into a resilient individual through her faith and love of the arts. Now that she has aged out of foster care, she is excited to pursue a college degree in the performing arts, especially opera and musical theatre. Her ultimate dream is to become a therapist for young children, creating a safe space for those who have experienced trauma. In her free time, Brie enjoys singing worship music and reading her Bible, finding inspiration in her faith as she continues to grow.

For most of her life, she hasn’t had a place to call home, where she feels comfortable and connected. This new apartment is her fresh start and a step towards independence, something she’s longed for. She wants to get a small couch or loveseat for her living space. To some, it might just be a piece of furniture, but for her, it means so much more. It’s a place to relax and feel safe, where she can unwind after busy days, study, and begin making memories in a space that truly feels like hers.
